The 2024 high school graduation exam officially ended on the afternoon of June 28. On the second day of the exam, candidates completed the final stage with the combination test and foreign language test. In the past 2 days, the 2024 high school graduation exam in Binh Duong took place thoughtfully and friendly. According to preliminary assessment, Binh Duong completed the exam in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

The exam is moderate and closely follows the training program

On the last day of the exam, students took exam of selective subjects in natural sciences or social sciences with a duration of 150 minutes, and in the afternoon, they did a foreign language test with a duration of 60 minutes. All subjects were tested in multiple-choice format. Like every year, this is considered a quite stressful exam day because there are many exam subjects in one exam session. The morning was considered quite stressful as students had to apply knowledge of many subjects into one test, and the exam time was also quite long.

After 150 minutes of the test, students left the test site with a relief because the test was suitable, closely followed the curriculum, and easy to get good scores. At exam site No. 22 - Le Quy Don Junior High School (Ben Cat City), conetstant To Khac Kha Nhu, said that this year's social science exam has 40 multiple-choice questions in each subject, quite suitable, the questions are within the reviewed lessons. Sentences 30 - 40 are sentences that classify students’ learning capacity. For students with good academic performance, it will be easy to pass 80%.

At testing site No. 6 - Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted (Thu Dau Mot City), contestant Do Tran Tam Thu happily said that the English test has 50 questions, and for candidates who study well, the possibility of 10 points is very high. The difficult questions are mainly in reading comprehension, finding mistakes in a series of 3 sentences... Tam Thu herself is confident of achieving 9 points or more.

On the final day, most candidates were in a happy mood because they had tried their best to complete the exam. Stepping out of testing site No. 26 - Phuoc Hoa High School (Phu Giao district), Nguyen Tan Minh Trieu, class 12A4, Vocational - Continuing Education Center of Phu Giao district, happily said: “I was quite satisfied with myself in the past two days of the exam. Even though I don't know the exact scores for the subjects, I feel very happy right now. I hope to get good scores to be admitted to Thu Dau Mot University."

The 2024 high school graduation exam is a special exam because this year's candidates are also the last batch of students studying the 2006 General Education Program. In 2025, the Ministry of Education & Training will make innovations in exam organization to suit the requirements and orientation of the 2018 General Education Program. The exam concludes the old curriculum but will be a good foundation to prepare for next year's exam.

Our survey at 28 official exam sites in the province shows that this year's exam, although the number of candidates increased compared to last year, thanks to good preparation, it went smoothly. This year, testing sites in the province continued to keep good discipline and pay attention to all aspects of the exam. All preparations for the exam at testing sites were done thoughtfully and thoroughly, from the necessary facilities and equipment for the exam to assigning staff to all stages.

Throughout two days of the exam, the candidates were present at testing sites early and strictly followed steps in the exam process that had been disseminated and instructed. In addition, contributing to ensuring the safety and success of the exam, hundreds of police officers, soldiers and volunteers who are youth union members in the province dedicatedly and responsibly supported students and their family by practical works. At testing sites, most parents were very satisfied with the way the exam was organized as well as the support in all aspects of the volunteer force, officials in charge of invigilating and serving the exam...

According to a quick report from the Department of Education & Training, in high school graduation exam this year, the Department continued to receive active coordination from departments, branches and localities in the province. During the two test days, 28 testing sites throughout the province seriously followed regulations of the Ministry of Education & Training, and did not have invigilators violating exam regulations; The percentage of students participating in exams in all subjects reached over 99%.

According to the plan, as soon as the final test ends, the testing sites will transport exam papers to the centralized marking site according to regulations. It is expected that the Ministry of Education & Training will announce exam results at 8:00 a.m. on July 17. After that, localities assess graduation of students taking the exam and use the graduation exam results to consider university and college admission according to the enrollment plan. Binh Duong plans to complete the recognition of high school graduation no later than July 19.

During the two days of the exam, the whole province had 24 students absent from the literature test; 35 students were absent in math; 96 students were absent from foreign language subjects (including 66 students who are exempt from foreign language exams due to having English certificates according to regulations). For natural science and social science subject combinations, the specific number of absent students is as follows: physics: 17, chemistry: 13, biology: 9, history: 17, geography: 15, civics: 10. During the foreign language test, one student violated exam regulations.
