Vietnam promotes tourism in Russia

Vietnam will attend the 23rd Moscow International Travel & Tourism Exhibition (MITT) in Russia on March 23-26 to promote the country’s land and people.

The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) in coordination with Vietnam Airlines and some tourism and travel associations will showcase their tourism products and services at a Vietnam pavilion and organize a wide range of promotional activities during the event.

It is Russia’s largest tourism event and one of five leading events of the world tourism sector.

MITT is not the first event that Vietnam tourism participated to target the Russian market. Early this month, the VNAT, the Vietnam Tourism Association and the Hanoi Department of Tourism launched a tourism promotion program in Moscow, giving discount tours, developing a tourism website in the Russian language, and offering medical tourism products and tours of northern provinces for Russian visitors.
