Under the campaign of “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods”, provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) in the last tenure promoted propaganda activities, coordinated with relevant units to organize joyful market-days of bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas, thereby contributing to improving the position of Vietnamese goods in the market.

Tran Thi Hong Hanh, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial FFC said that provincial FFC and its member organizations teamed up with functional agencies to widely and deeply propagandize the campaign among people from all strata; organize practical activities in line with each targeted group and residential area; open joyful market-days of bringing Vietnamese goods to industrial parks, rural areas…All created positive impacts on social life, raising customers’ awareness of responsibility to domestic goods, contributing to promoting domestic production and consumption, decreasing goods import and ensuring social welfare.
Vietnamese goods’ position improved
During the past ten years, provincial FFC worked with relevant units to successfully organize 108 market-days of bringing Vietnamese goods to industrial parks, compounds and rural areas with total revenue of more than VND50.3trillion. On average, each market-day of Vietnamese goods absorbed 20-30 enterprises with around 40-45 booths. Participating enterprises’ booths actively contributed to promoting safe agricultural products…
It is known that provincial Department of Industry and Trade held a main role in coordinating with relevant units to advise provincial People’s Committee on the promulgation of plans on stabilizing market prices and stockpiling essential goods for the whole province. The province has so far had 11 participating enterprises with 85 goods-selling points.
The local functional agencies also strengthened inspection tours on food safety-hygiene, agricultural and industrial material quality; opportunely handled wrong cases on food safety-hygiene, goods’ quality…; further mobilized enterprises to apply sci-tech advancements into production, generating hi-quality products with competitive prices; mobilized farmers and farm owners to well realize commitments on the quality of commodities in production and business, give priority to using domestic agricultural materials, equipment and machines…
Additionally, provincial FFC teamed up with relevant units to replicate and uphold the effectiveness of market-days bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas; mobilize and advocate enterprises to take part in expos at home and abroad, creating favorable conditions for them to expand their distribution system, improve their local market share for better consumption and response to the campaign.
Mrs.Hanh added that this is a significant campaign, expressing each citizen’s national pride. With integral efforts, the province implemented a lot of practical programs, contributing to building prestigious Vietnamese trademarks…
