VISSAN provides 100% pork certified by VietGAP
From Apr 15th 2016, Vietnam Meat Industries Limited Company (VISSAN) offers 100% pork certified by VietGAP across 309 sale points of VISSAN at nationwide supermarkets and 146 points in traditional markets. Nguyen Hoang Khanh, Head of Binh Duong VISSAN shop, said at these sale points there were always signage for consumers to recognize VietGAP pork. Currently, the company sells all types of pork for consumers to easily select fresh meat with assured quality and reasonable prices.
According to VISSAN leadership, pigs are carefully selected from the company’s own farms or private farms with closed and safe breeding process transferred by VISSAN. The company also regularly checks banned substances on 100% purchased swine. After slaughter, their pork are tested and stamped by veterinary inspection agencies before selling.
Reportedly, total amount of VietGAP pork supplied by VISSAN to the market is averagely 70 tons / day.
