Current World No 1 tennis player Victoria Azarenka will join the Heineken Star tennis tournament due to open in Ho Chi Minh City on September 20, according to a domestic source of information.

A professional tennis player, she won the 2012 Australian Open singles title to become the first Belarusian winner of Grand Slam in singles. 

Her other achievements included winning a bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and two mixed doubles Grand Slam titles with Max Mirnyi at the 2007 US Open.

Azarenka was also awarded at the 2008 French Open with Bob Bryan and most recently, touched gold in the mixed doubles with Max Mirnyi at the 2012 London Olympics.
