Bau Bang mobilizes all resources for infrastructure development

With a target of becoming an industrial and urban hub in the northern region of the province, Bau Bang district has bravely taken breakthrough solutions, paving the way of the local sustainable economic development.

To soon achieve the above, the district put focus on mobilizing all resources to make investment in infrastructure facilities, promoting the local socio-economic development, improving the lives of the local people.

A glance of Bau Bang industrial-urban park

Nguyen Thanh Hai, a resident in Lai Hung commune said that Bau Bang district has made great changes with streets upgraded, facilitating the local people’s traveling and trade activities. Especially, the district is now home to many modern industrial compounds and parks with large-scale companies, bringing a new image to the locality and generating jobs for the local people.

With the efforts by the local Party, government and people, the  mage of the district’s urban and rural areas has achieved many obvious changes in recent years. The district now has a favorable traffic system with key works like the six-lane National Highway 13, streets in the Bau Bang industrial-urban park, interprovincial streets DT750, DT749A, DT749C, DT741B…

The district has concentrated on carrying out many traffic infrastructure projects. Currently, some streets, namely Ho Chi Minh street, My Phuoc-Bau Bang main street connecting with Ho Chi Minh street, the expanded DT741B, Bau Bang-Phu Giao-North Tan Uyen street connecting with Tan Uyen logistics port are underway and will be put into use…

Improving investment climate

To well tap the local advantages, the district over the past time paid more attention to reforming administrative procedures, improving the local investment climate, supporting enterprises…With practical solutions, the district has so far lured many investors.

Choi Inh Yuck, General Director of Shinji Vina Co.Ltd. in the Bau Bang industrial park said that over the past time, the district accompanied enterprises in production and business activities. Especially, leaders of the district instructed functional agencies to put focus on reforming administrative procedures, facilitating enterprises ‘development.

Possibly seeing, Bau Bang is now a bright spot in investment attraction in the northern region of the province. In Q1, 2020, the district absorbed 29 newly-registered projects, including 21 domestic projects with a total registered capital of VND89billion and 8 FDI ones with a total registered capital of US$21.3million. So far, the district has lured 970 investment projects, comprising of 790 domestic projects with a total registered capital of more than VND29.6trillion and 180 FDI ones with a total registered capital of more than US$3billion. Thanks to effective policies in investment attraction, the district has drawn more FDI projects with great capital. The district is now home to 2 large-scale industrial parks in operation, namely the Bau Bang industrial and urban park and Tan Binh industrial park. There are also Lai Hung and Cay Truong industrial parks under construction…

Le Khac Tri, Chairman of Bau Bang district’s People’s Committee said that the district has bent on building up the best favorable investment climate; giving maximum support for enterprises. To successfully make a target of developing Bau Bang into an urban and industrial hub in the northern region of the province, the district will further mobilize all resources for infrastructure development; strengthen administrative reform, improve the investment climate, attach special importance to luring investors with financial capacity, promote clean industries and hi-tech auxiliary ones…
