Over 160 athletes compete in chess tournament of age groups in Southeastern Region of Vietnam

Binh Duong Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism just organized the opening of chess tournament for age groups in Southeastern Region of Vietnam in 2019.

Attending the tournament was over 160 males and females from provinces and cities of Binh Duong, Dac Nong, Ninh Thuan, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Tay Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City. As for Binh Duong, 8 teams of Thu Dau Mot City, Di An Town, Thuan An Town, Ben Cat Town, Tan Uyen Town, Phu Giao District, Bac Tan Uyen District, and Bau Bang District attended.

The athletes shall compete in male and female individual competition of flash chess for age groups of U9, U11, U13, and U15 and selected team. The tournament is the chance for athletes to compete and to discover talents for national and regional tournaments.
