In the past year, sports movements with the form of socialization flourished. Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism successfully held many large sports activities such as: "Welcome New Year" Cross-running race - BTV Number One; Binh Duong Television cycling tournament - Ton Dai Thien Loc Cup; Binh Duong New City football tournament - Becamex Cup; Honda Vietnam motorbike racing competition; Dai Nam motorbike racing contest...

These activities attracted a large number of people from young people, teenagers, officials, workers, and soldiers from the armed forces to the elderly, contributing to the development of sport activities. The Department hosted and co-hosted about 40 provincial sports tournaments. The boards, branches, unions, businesses and localities hosted over 500 sports competitions of all kinds.
