The AACSB and ABET-standard Eastern International University (EIU) was built up by Becamex IDC to promote high-end academic training. Attending students are offered with chance of winning scholarship of Becamex IDC and VSIP before being able to earn jobs in industrial parks of Becamex IDC after graduation.

Binh Duong Newspaper reporter interviewed Instructor Nguyen Tan Loi – Deputy President of EIU on enrollment to EIU in new academic year of 2012-2013.

Reporter: Sir, how will EIU recruit students for the coming academic year?

Instructor: We organize nation wide recruitment under guidelines of Ministry of Education and Training. About 1,000 students will be enrolled to 7 sectors of A, A1m Bm and D1 subject groups and 7 faculties of Electronic-Electricity Engineering, Automation and Control Engineering, Kinetics, Software Engineering, Communication and Computer Networks, Business Administration in English, HR Management, and Management of Supplying Chain.

Reporter: What should candidates prepare for a complete dossier?

Instructor:

The application dossier includes:

-       Dossier paper bag with portrait photograph

-       Application sheet No. 1

-       Copy of front face of application sheet No. 1 (no overlapping writing is allowed)

-       Application sheet No. 2

-       Two 4x6cm portrait photographs (taken in the latest 6 months, full name, date of birth, district and province code, and code of examining unit are written at the back of the photographs) put in small envelop.

-       Two envelops with stamps with full name and adress for correspondence.

-       Copies of certificates for privileged candidates.

As for copy of application sheet No.1, EIU will receive directly from DOET.

Reporter: How will candidates complete application forms?

Instructor: According to regulations of recruitment and enrollment in 2012, candidates express their wish for enrollment in the dossiers in which Item 2 and Item 3 of the entrance examination application sheet are the most important.

In Item 2, candidates will specify the institutions they wish to be recruited to. Specifically, they will complete 3 blanks of Institution Name, Code, and Subject Group, they do not need to specify faculty code.

In Item 3, they will complete 5 blanks in correspondance with Item 2.
