100% of province’s health stations have midwives

Late September 5, provincial Department of Health held a conference to review the ten-year implementation of the CPV Central Committee's Secretariat’s Direction No.06/CT-TW and the provincial Party Standing Committee’s Direction No.15/CT-TU on strengthening health network at grassroots level, in attendance of provincial People’s Committee Vice-Chairman Huynh Van Nhi.

  Provincial People’s Committee Vice-Chairman Huynh Van Nhi awarding the certificates of merit from provincial People’s Committee to outstanding collectivesAll districts, towns and TDM city of the province have so far set up the steering boards for public healthcare. The whole province now has 100% of health stations with midwives, 19 hospitals, 55 general clinics, 91 commune/ward/township-level health stations, 58 health stations at industrial parks and compounds…In general, the province gained important results after 10 years of implementing the Direction No.06/CT-TW and the Direction No.15/CT-TU.

At the conference, Mr.Nhi affirmed that the province’s health network at grassroots level has been improved at the local people’s demand for healthcare. On this occasion, provincial People’s Committee also awarded the certificates of merit to 8 collectives and 20 individuals; 22 collectives and 41 individuals were awarded the certificates of merit from provincial Department of Health…
