19th Southeastern Fine Art Exhibition opened

The exhibition introduces 187 works of 211 authors. The organizing board granted prize A to painter Nguyen Van Cong of Ninh Thuan province, prizes B and C to Nguyen Hoai Huyen Vu and Nguyen Tan Cong of Binh Duong province.

In addition, the organizing board donated 3 consolidation prizes and 13 other works were introduced to attend at the 2014 Vietnam Literature and Art Union’s national committee award. This is the annual activity of the provincial Fine Art Society.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Nguyen Minh Giao, head of the provincial Committee for Education and Propaganda said that Binh Duong is home to craft villages of lacquer, sculpture, porcelain, among others. In addition, he affirmed that the provincial leaders always pay attention to developing literature and art, encouraging artists to join in art creation.
