Nguyen Quoc Nguyen ranks first at open three-cushion billiards tournament 2014
Tan Uyen town’s Open Three-Cushion Billiards Tournament 2014 concluded after the final match between Vietnam’s top billiards players, Nguyen Quoc Nguyen who won gold in the 26th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games and Truong Quang Hao from HCM city.
As a result, Nguyen Quoc Nguyen won the championship title at the tournament. Truong Quang Hoa came second. Two billiards players, Ma Xuan Cuong and Duong Anh Vu, ranked third. The award for the best billiards player went to Pham Tran Minh Thy of Binh Duong with 13 scores.

This year’s tournament absorbed 120 athletes from 6 provinces and cities with the country’s strongest three-cushion billiards movement: HCM city, Dong Nai, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Tay Ninh, Binh Phuoc and host Binh Duong. The tournament took place from August 7 to 9 at Ut Bap billiards club in Tan Uyen town.
