Late August 8, V-League 2014 was concluded by 6 simultaneous matches nationwide. Becamex Binh Duong FC came into the spotlight confronting SHB Da Nang on Go Dau Stadium. The championship was determined one round ahead; however, plenty of fans were present to celebrate the award.

Such encouragement of the fans promoted the players to demonstrate 90-minute efforts. In 15 minutes, the away team opened score by lone effort of Hung Son in the penalty area defeating hometeam goalkeeper by a wonderful goal which brought Becamex Binh Duong FC to attacks from the wings.

SHB Da Nang was in difficult situations. At 37 minutes, from the right wing, Abass made a smart pass to Dang Van Thanh who, then, scored by his heel equalising 1-1.

The same tempo was maintained in the second half with in turn attacks by two teams; however, no goals were scored. A draw of 1-1 gave Becamex Binh Duong FC 49 points to become the V-League Champion 2014.

Becamex Binh Duong FC is the first Vietnamese Club to pocket 3 V-League Championship.
