22nd “Bup sen hong” festival kicks off

The 22^nd “Bup sen hong” (Pink lotus bub) festival will take place at provincial Convention-Exhibition Center tonight, July 19.

With the theme of “Binh Duong-a place for children to meet”, this year’s festival is expected to absorb more than 3,000 children from 62 cultural houses for children and centers for children-teenagers in 25 southern provinces and cities.

As planned, participating delegations will burn incense to commemorate heroic martyrs at provincial Martyrs’ Cemetery while carrying out a parade through TDM city’s main streets before the ceremony opening the festival.

The festival is an art performance playground for children to meet and exchange. Participating delegations will also tour 8 districts, towns and TDM city in the province. The festival will last until July 22.
