Specifically, athlete Nguyen Thuy Dung from Binh Duong Water Supply Company won the first prize with 4:02.37, followed by Vo Phuong Phi also from Binh Duong Water Supply Company with 4:10.02 and Nguyen Thi Thanh from Dong Thap province with 4:10.71. In addition, Cao Thi Cam Le also from Binh Duong Water Supply Company took fourth with 4:13.37.

As such, Thuy Dung took the yellow jersey before starting the first stage from Binh Duong to Vung Tau city with a length of 120km.
