34 are praised for anti-corruption iniatives

Yesterday of August 17, 34 out of 160 anti-corruption iniatives have been chosen to test try in the time to come as part of program for Vietnam Anti-Corruption Iniatives (VACI) 2011 in cooperation with World Bank (WB). The winning iniatives are highly appreciated for feasibility, creativity and sustanability in corruption fights.

 Addressing the awarding ceremony, Inspector-in-chief of the government, Mr. Huynh Phong Tranh stressed that the Party and the State encourage anti-corruption which is a highlight of Vietnam in discovering and punishing breaches.

 VACI 2011 under the theme of “boosting public transparency and law enforcement, contributing to effectiveness of anti-corruption”.
