Provincial Consumer Rights' Protection Association strengthens communication with consumers

On December 20, the Provincial Consumer Rights Protection Association held a conference to summarize works in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025.

In 2024, the District and City Consumer Rights Protection Associations collaborated with various functional departments, sectors, unions, and local neighborhoods and hamlets to organize hundreds of conferences, which aimed to disseminate and integrate legal regulations related to consumer rights protection, the Law on Environmental Protection, and the campaign "Vietnamese People Prioritize Using Vietnamese Goods." 

At the same time, the associations organized contests to learn about the Law on Consumer Protection, the Law on Environmental Protection, food safety and hygiene, and promoted digital transformation, responded to the implementation of cashless payments, how to identify genuine, fake, and poor quality goods, etc. 

In 2025, the Provincial Consumer Protection Association will continue to work with relevant sectors and functional forces to improve information dissemination and provide advice and support to consumers in addressing issues related to the infringement of consumer rights. 

In particular, the association aims to promote coordination activities against smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods between departments and sectors, especially in the field of e-commerce, to build a healthy business environment, contributing to effectively protecting consumer rights.
