Thuan An city’s Labor Union promotes comprehensive development, improving workers' quality of life

Thuan An city’s Labor Union held a meeting to review its activities in 2024 and outline key tasks for 2025. Over the past year, the city’s Labor Union admitted additional 4,713 new members and established 31 trade union locals, achieving 102.8% of the target. The total budget allocated for supporting members and workers in 2024 was estimated at nearly VND 20 billion.

The city’s Labor Union also continued focusing on taking care of trade unionists and workers with such significant activities as giving Tet gifts for workers, mobilizing  enterprises to adjust meals for workers, ensuring compliance with regulations.

In 2025, the city’s Labor Union will further focus on expanding membership and establishing new trade union locals; enhance dialogues between enterprises and workers, improve the quality of meals and organize practical emulation movements.

On this occasion, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented the "For the Cause of Building the Trade Union" mementoes to eight officials for their significant contributions. The certificates of merit were also awarded to one collective and three individuals for their outstanding achievements in implementing the “Excellent worker” emulation movement and building the Trade Union. Provincial Labor Federation also presented a flag of emulation to the trade union local of Nguyen Van Troi Secondary School and awarded the certificates of merit to 23 collectives and 22 individuals for their excellent performance in the “Excellent worker” emulation movement.
