35 pieces win prizes in a song writing contest about Tan Uyen City

 On January 25, Tan Uyen City People's Committee held an award ceremony for the 2023 song writing contest about Tan Uyen City. This is one of the activities within framework of the third Bach Dang Pomelo Fragrance Festival 2024.

More than 6 months after launching, the contest has attracted many professional and non-professional musicians writing and submit songs to the competition. As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded a total of 35 prizes to the winning authors in this contest. In the new music genre, 25 songs won prizes, including: 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 4 third prizes, 12 consolation prizes, 6 movement prizes; in which the song “Chào thành phố Tân Uyên” (Hello Tan Uyen City) by author Nguyen Long won first prize. In the traditional music category, there were 10 winning prizes, including: 1 second prize (no first prize), 1 third prize, 6 consolation prizes and 2 movement prizes; In which the song “Tân Uyên nơi nào cũng đẹp” (Tan Uyen is beautiful everywhere) by author Hoang Long won second prize.
