4 million tourist arrivals at Binh Duong in 2015

Since early this year, the province developed 37 tourist accommodation facilities, including 6 facilities operated as organization, 31 facilities with 799 rooms operated as household business; total registered capital was 122.27 billion VND. The province also developed 9 more travel businesses.

In 2015, total tourist arrivals at Binh Duong was estimated at 4 million, including about 175,000 175,000 foreign visitors and over 3.825 million domestic visitors. Total tourism revenue of the province was estimated at 1,075 billion VND.

Besides, in 2015, the tourism promotion in the province was enhanced through the participation in tourism events, like: Ba Ria - Vung Tau Tourism Festival, International Tourism Exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City, international workshop named “Linking tourism development in the Central Coast region with the South East region, the Central Highlands, and provinces of southern Laos, northeast Cambodia"… In particular, the province held a successfully “Lai Thieu grape fruit season 2015” Festival to consolidate Lai Thieu orchard’s brandname among domestic and international travelers.
