In the morning of September 7th the contest started as part of Vietnam – Binh Duong Pottery Festival 2010. Of the 48 attending products, 34 themes are registered by 30 agencies. The contest is for pottery making, designing, decorating and shaping in original forms and meaningful in ideas expressing skillful creation.

As a result, the second prize is granted to “Luong long dang van” (two dragons fly on clouds) by Tran Ngoc Khang from Minh Long I Co. Ltd., third prize is for “Ca nuoc” (fish and water) by Vu Duc Thang and Huynh Chi Dong Hai from Tinh Hoa Dat Company, and 3 other promotional prizes.

 

Organizers decided not to grant first prize but a creative prize instead to potter Nguyen Van Kien who made “Ca va chieu thoi gian” (fish and the timeline) from Bat Trang pottery village. The prizes will be officially handed over to winners in the final nights of the festival and during “The gioi mau sac mau” (world of colors) exhibition at Go Dau stadium.
