500 Tet gifts given for the poor, the disabled and orphans in Phu Giao

Early January 25, Taiwan’s Tzu-chi Charity Society in Vietnam in collaboration with provincial Department of Foreign Affairs and Phu Giao district’s Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs presented 500 Tet gifts to the poor, the disabled and orphans across the district.

Each gift is worth VND500,000, including essential goods for Tet and VND200,000 in cash. All the above gifts are worth VND250mln.

Over the past years, along with authorities at all levels of Phu Giao district in particular and the province in general, enterprises and donors took care of poor people via many practical activities, thereby helping them enjoy a more joyful and warmer Tet.
