600 Mid-Autumn gifts given for disadvantaged children

Delivery of mid-autumn gifts for orphans living in Que Huong Charity Center

*Phu Giao donates 374 gifts to poor children

 

Provincial vice-chairman Huynh Van Nhi and a delegation of leaders from provincial sectors and mass organizations yesterday visited and presented 600 Mid-Autumn gifts to disadvantage children living in province-based social support facilities, including Que Huong Charity Center, Thuan An Unity Group’s Compassion House…, with a total expense of VND100mln extracted from provincial State budget.

 

*On the Mid-Autumn festival, Phu Giao district’s two communes, namely An Binh and An Thai, are selected for organizing the Mid-Autumn fest for children by the province on the evening of August 15 of the lunar calendar. In addition to art performances, the two communes will donate 180 gifts to poor children at the festive night.

 

Today, September 21 (August 14 on lunar calendar), the district’s leaders visit and present 374 Mid-Autumn gifts to disadvantaged children. All the 9 communes and townships in the district also organizes mid-autumn fest celebrations for the local children.
