With efforts to reach his ambition, Vu Trong Tam – a young face of athletics tournaments becomes famous for his impressive achievements. At the age of 18, Vu Trong Tam is a new hope for the provincial athletics event.

  Vu Trong Tam wins high achievement at the 2011 national sport festival for students.

Born and grown up in Long Tan commune, Dau Tieng district, Vu Trong Tam has started joining in athletics tournaments since 2011. Tam has rapidly proven his ability of athletics after winning the gold medal at Dau Tieng district Phu Dong sport festival and the silver medal at the provincial Phu Dong sport festival.

 

With the done achievements, Tam has been recruited by the provincial Sport and Gymnastics Gifted School. Thanks to assistance of teammates and coaches plus his determination, Tam wins many achievements. Teacher Nguyen Ngoc An who found out Tam’s potentials shared “Tam always takes advantage of time to practice effectively”. Thanks to efforts in practice, Vu Trong Tam supplemented one more golden medal for teammate prize and a bronze medal for individual category at the national sport festival for students in his achievement list in the end of 2011.

 

Vu Trong Tam affirmed himself after being admitted into the national team. After that Tam grabbed the gold medal at the 2013 national youth championship. Asked about dreams and plans for the future, Tam revealed “I will try my best to become a professional athlete. At present, I have prepared for joining in the national youth tournaments in August and the other championships in the Southeastern Asia region”.
