Activities celebrate National Day

Binh Duong now gets animated with many cultural-sports activities to mark the 67th anniversary of the National Day.

*To mark the 67th anniversary of the National Day, provincial Cultural Center held the first Binh Duong mass art performance festival on the evening of August 29, with the participation of 20 units. The center has also made dissemination of information about August Revolution and National Day.

*Binh Duong Radio-TV Station will organize the awards ceremony of the 2012 southern folk opera contest entitled “Binh Duong-Beloved land” in Binh Duong new city at 20pm today, August 31.

Coming to the program, viewers will have a chance enjoy southen folk songs about Binh Duong and many other special items performed by famous singers from HCM city, including Quang Linh, Hien Thuc, My Le, Mat Ngoc, Phuong Loan, Phuong Nga, Hoang Phat…

*Tan Uyen district’s Center of Culture is organizing various activities to celebrate the 67th anniversary of the August Revolution, including the second Tan Uyen singing voice contest, with the participation of 27 units; the Tan Uyen mini-football tournament for children 2012…

*On this occasion, provincial Liberary is organizing a book exhibition about the August Revolution and National Day. The exhibition will last until late September 2012.

* The Lac Canh Dai Nam Van Hien tourist complex will also organize various activities during the National Day, including performance of unicorn-lion-dragon dances, folk games with attractive gifts…Especially, a special music program to celebrate the National Day will be held at Dai Nam Square on the evening of Sept.2, with the performance of famous singers from HCM city, including Luong Bich Huu, Thanh Ngoc…

* TDM city’s Center of Culture-Information and Sports will organize a number of cultural and sports events to mark the 67th anniversary of the National Day, including a boat racing tournament, a mock-up car performance together with many other art performances.
