Meanwhile, the lockdown area has 1,676 cases, accounting for 93.8%.
During the day, Thuan An city had the highest number of cases with 784 cases, Di An city 323 cases, Bau Bang district 234 cases, Tan Uyen town 199 cases, Thu Dau Mot city 137 cases, Phu Giao district 47 cases, Dau Tieng district 37 cases, Bac Tan Uyen district 12 cases, Ben Cat town 5 cases and 9 cases recorded from outside the province. Up to now, the whole province has recorded 212,844 cases of Covid-19 infection. In addition, as an extensive testing was conducted, on October 1, localities have discovered 1,787 more positive cases out of a total of 264,732 sampled people, accounting for 0.68%.
Also on October 1, the province had an additional 1,830 patients discharged, bringing the total number of patients discharged during the epidemic to 185,399.
