Coming from the South to visit Uncle Ho's mausoleum

The delegation arrived at Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, then lined up neatly and orderly, gradually moved into Ba Dinh Square. Everyone was touched when they were able to visit Uncle Ho's mausoleum. In the morning mist, Uncle Ho's mausoleum appeared before their very eyes, overwhelmed feelings aroused in each member. Around the mausoleum, bamboo rows were green and misty, became shimmering as the sunlight passed through each cluster of leaves.

The whole group of Binh Duong children corrected their attire, solemnly conducted a ceremony. The flag salution began. The wind was cool. The National Flag fluttered up high in harmony with the National Anthem, arousing a sense of pride in the country Vietnam. After that, the Binh Duong delegation were deeply moved and joined the flow of people to visit Uncle Ho in mausoleum.

Pham Nhu Anh, a student of Chanh Nghia Secondary School (Thu Dau Mot City), said: “I learned 5 things taught by Uncle Ho from grade 1. By lessons and HYPO movements, I learned about Uncle Ho's great life and career. This is the first time I visit the mausoleum and saw Uncle Ho, I was very touched. I promise to always follow the 5 things taught by Uncle Ho, try to study well and actively take part in HYPO activities, deserves a good child of Uncle Ho, strive to become a good member of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, contribute to the national construction".

Along with visit to Uncle Ho's mausoleum, the delegation learned more about the life story and career of President Ho Chi Minh, the nation's revolutionary struggles when visiting the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh Museum, and Vietnam Military History Museum.

To engrave 5 things taught by Uncle Ho

During this journey, Binh Duong delegation also met Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam at the Government Office. At the meeting, provincial Youth Union's leaders reported youth and children works, youth movements, and results of the 2020 Provincial Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children.

During the past two years, Youth Union and HYPO of Binh Duong province built 10 amusement parks, 15 "Red Scraft" houses, presented 3,000 scholarships, totaling 3 billion VND. In addition, there was a series of counseling activities to improve children's health, injury prevention, child abuse prevention activities organized in each branch, lodging house, social housing area.  The historical educational journeys were simultaneously carried out in schools and localities, creating a good spreading. In particular, models to care for young workers and workers' children were implemented extensively, for example, effective models of Little Star Kindergarten and Provincial Center for Young workers and Labor Support were by launched by Provincial Youth Union.

The 22nd Binh Duong provincial Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children 2020 had the theme "Binh Duong Children - Good study, hard training - Deserve Uncle Ho's good children, the hope of Vietnam Communist Party". The congress also commended 200 good examples of Uncle Ho's good children representing more than 300,000 young members of the whole province and 20 teacher examples of excellent HYPO's general leaders in the 2018-2020 period. In addition, young ones of Binh Duong delegation reported their accomplishments in study and youth movements.

Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam expressed his joy and praised Binh Duong children's accomplishments, diligence, good study, good deeds, and compassion for the people in Central Vietnam, as well as the enthusiasm and creative movements of provincial youth leaders. The Deputy Prime Minister wished that the children always love their families, teachers, people around, and the homeland; engrave into mind and practice 5 things taught by Uncle Ho. The Deputy Prime Minister also encouraged the children to keep training, helping and motivating their friends in their school, class to progress together, strive to become useful citizens for society; join hands to build up the country, realize Uncle Ho's wish.

The Deputy Prime Minister also suggested that Binh Duong Provincial Youth Union should organize more many meaningful and practical activities for the care and education of children... On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam presented gifts and greeted all children in Binh Duong province with good wishes, good study, and good health.
