On the afternoon of November 20, the Ministry of Construction held an online conference with four provinces of Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Binh Phuoc, and Tien Giang on “Promoting the implementation of administrative reforms and proactively exploiting and using the set of indicators to assess the service quality for citizens and businesses in directing and urging.” From Binh Duong as authorized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Vo Hoang Ngan, Director of the Department of Construction, chaired the conference.
At the conference, localities raised their difficulties, obstacles, and recommendations to the Ministry of Construction and other relevant ministries and sectors to implement tasks for administrative reform; at the same time, the Ministry of Construction also clarified and addressed the issues raised by the localities.
According to the report, currently, the People's Committee of Binh Duong Province has publicly announced 100% of administrative procedures and published them on the national database with nearly 1,900 administrative procedures. Among them, there are nearly 1,400 provincial-level administrative procedures; 235 at the district level, over 140 at the communal level, and some specific procedures. In the 10 months of 2024, the information system for resolving administrative procedures with the national public service portal has processed over 550 thousand files and synchronized nearly 750 thousand records of the sectors on the national public service portal.
Concluding the conference, Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung, Deputy Minister of Construction, stated that the Ministry would review and coordinate with relevant ministries and sectors to address existing shortcomings, rectify the situation of evasion; at the same time, simplify procedures to better serve the people and businesses.
