Provincial Military Command cooperating to maintain political security and social order

Early November 19, provincial Military Command convened the 2024 Military Affairs Conference. Vo Van Minh, Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Chairman of provincial People's Committee attended and directed the conference. Colonel Nguyen Hoang Minh, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Commander of provincial Military Command chaired the conference. 

In 2024, the province’s armed forces effectively fulfilled their advisory role to Party committees and authorities in leading and directing the local military and defense activities. They coordinated with the police forces to maintain political security-social order, strengthened defense-security capabilities and successfully completed 100% of the objectives set for district- and commune-level defense area drills. The work of national defense education for all people, fostering and updating national defense and security knowledge for subjects reached high effectiveness...

Addressing the conference, Mr. Minh emphasized the need for provincial Military Command’s Party Committee as well as leaders of related agencies, units and localities to uphold a strong sense of responsibility, strengthen leadership and guidance and define specific plans and measures to ensure the successful implementation of military and defense tasks in 2025. Specifically, agencies, units and localities should enhance their advisory capabilities for Party committees and authorities to link socio-economic development with defense and security requirements; ensure that 2025 military recruitment is rigorous and meets the set targets; focus on building politically, ideologically, ethically and organizationally strong military agencies as well as creating comprehensive and exemplary armed forces, units that achieve the "Three Best" standard. 

On this occasion, provincial People's Committee awarded emulation flags to two collectives and certificates of merit to 24 collectives and 34 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the 2024 “determined to win” emulation movement.
