Ben Cat’s economy surges 23,5%

According to a report by Ben Cat town’s People’s Committee, the town’s economy in 2017 got a growth of 23.5% compared to 2016.

The proportion of industrial production accounted for 80.6% of the town’s economic structure; services, 18.9% and agriculture, 0.5%. The town disbursed more than VND245billion in basic construction capital, up 36.9% against 2016 the year’s plan or 99.14% of the year’s plan. The town’s State budget collection was estimated at more than VND1.7trillion, up 12% of the year’s plan…

The town has also set targets in 2018. Particularly, the town will strive to reach  more than VND115.7trillion in total production value,  VND93.2million in average income per capita, more than VND1.8trillion in State budget collection, 99% of households in use of clean water, power and below 1% of the rate of poor houses under the province’s poverty line.
