Currently, Binh Duong province has a total of 12 national-level relics and 44 provincial-level ones together with many landscapes, traditional draft villages, festivals…, creating a special nuance for the locality. There are also 4 national-level historical relics and 20 provincial-level ones.
With cultural-historical relics, Binh Duong is an attraction destination for domestic and foreign tourists, especially Youth Union members with return-the-roof tourism.

According to provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DoCST), province-based historical relics absorb thousands of visitors every year. Especially, Phu Loi Prison historical relic site, Tam giac sat (Iron triangle) tunnel…have become a place on the education of revolutionary tradition for youths nationwide.
To promote return-to-the roof tourism, the province has implemented many projects, including provincial Project on preserving and upholding historical-cultural values, landscapes for the period of 2011-2015 and orientation to 2020; provincial Plan on tourism development to 2020, vision to 2030…Accordingly, the province has attached special importance to combining tourism development with visiting cultural and historical relics; effectively tap cultural and historical relics, cultural heritage values, ensuring sustainable development both in tourism and ecological environment.
Provincial DoCST has also coordinated with sectors, localities to set up plans on restoring cultural-historical relics towards “return-to-the roof” and ecological tourism. Some works being restored include Ho Lang ecotourism-historical relic site in Di An town, “Iron triangle” tunnel in Ben Cat town, Phu Loi prisoner relic site in Thu Dau Mot city…Till now, provincial project on restoring Phu Loi Prison relic site has been completed with items put into use at tourists’ demand.

Provincial DoCST will also organize the first “street food” festival 2018 on December 22 and 23 at Bach Dang park in TDM city’s Phu Cuong ward. The festival comprises of booths on food, travel...together with special street art items.
