Binh Duong boosts cooperation with Japan’s Yamaguchi

On November 25, Mai Hung Dung, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee received a delegation of Japan’s Yamaguchi province, led by Hideaki Harada, Director of Yamaguchi province’s Department of Foreign Affairs.

Mr.Hideaki Harada thanked provincial leaders for their warm welcome. On this occasion, leaders of Yamaguchi province wanted to have a detail exchange with Binh Duong province about the organization of the 5^th anniversary of the establishment of the friendship relations between the two provinces. Mr.Dung applauded the organization of the event while emphasizing that the two sides need to organize significant activities, contributing to promoting mutual friendship relations. He assigned provincial Department of Foreign Affairs the task of further exchanging views on concrete programs of the event.

It is known that under the cooperation agreement signed from December 2014, Binh Duong and Yamaguchi organized exchange delegations in many fields, especially in the field of making investment in Binh Duong. It is expected that on this occasion, the two sides will hold activities in terms of investment promotion, tourism development and cultural exchange as well as exchanging mutual experience in hi-tech agricultural development…
