Provincial Retirees ‘Club implements numerous activities to take care of members' lives

Early July 3, provincial Retirees' Club held a conference to review its activities for the first six months and set a plan for the last six months of 2024.

As of now, provincial Retirees' Club has 1,346 members. In the first half of 2024, the club raised nearly VND 330 million from social contributions, spending over VND 264 million on purchasing equipment, organizing cultural exchange events, and assisting members with difficult circumstances, accidents and illnesses… Additionally, members of the club actively participated in movements to build a civilized urban and cultural lifestyle in their residence places. Cultural, artistic, physical, and sports activities continued being promoted, creating playgrounds for members.

In the last six months of 2024, provincial Retirees' Club will continue strengthening the organization of activities, developing new members, and encouraging the existing ones to re-engage. The club will also visit members facing difficulties, illnesses and organize tours for members.

On this occasion, provincial Retirees' Club also awarded the certificates of merit to five groups that exceeded the social contribution targets in the first half of the year.
