237 athletes from 24 cycling clubs across 13 Southern provinces, cities participated in the tournament for senior cyclists. The tournament was divided into 2 categories of group for athletes from 41-55 ages, and group from 30-40 ages.

This was one of key activities to salute the 65th anniversary of National Day and Ceramics Festival 2010. As a result, athlete Tran Truong Binh in district 7 won the first prize for the category of 30-40 ages whilst Tran Minh Thu in HCMC grabbed 1st prize for the 41-55 age category.
