Binh Duong hosts 9th National Phu Dong Sports Festival of Region IV

Provincial Department of Education and Training has just had a meeting with members of the organizing board of the 9^th National Phu Dong Sports Festival of the Region IV.

The meeting aimed to extend preparatory work for the organization of the sports festival for pupils at all levels hosted by Binh Duong from April 12 to 24, with the participation of 13 provinces and cities, comprising of Binh Duong, HCM city, Dong Nai, Lam Dong, Dac Lac, Dac Nong, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh and Ba Ria-Vung Tau.

The opening ceremony of the sports festival is expected to take place on provincial stadium on the evening of April 17 ahead. The organizers also approved the contents of the ceremony; required sub-committees to recheck entrusted jobs as well as material facilities to serve the sports festival while ensuring order and security so that it will take place successfully.
