Binh Duong int’l billiards tournament kicks off

The fifth Binh Duong International Three-Cushion Carom Billiards Tournament-BTV-Becamex IJC Cup 2016 yesterday opened at Binh Duong new city-based Lucky Square Convention and Event Center.

Attending the event were Le Huu Phuoc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Education; Doan Tuan Anh, Head of the National Sports Administration's Billiards-Snooker Section.

This year’s tournament has attracted the participation of 58 domestic players and 6 foreign ones from Japan, South Korea, Philippines and Indonesia.

Addressing the event, Mr.Phuoc emphasized the efforts by units, including Binh Duong Radio-Television Station, provincial Department of Culture-Sports and Tourism, the National Sports Administration’s Billiards-Snooker Section and Becamex IJC in initiating and maintaining the annual Binh Duong international three-cushion carom billiards tournament. The quality of the tournament is increasing, absorbing the attention of experts and fans. It is also highly appreciated by the Asian Billiards & Snooker Federation.
