Binh Duong New City Football tournament - Becamex IDC Cup 2016 to kick off

Morning May 15, the 11^th Binh Duong New City Football tournament - Becamex IDC Cup 2016 was formally opened at My Phuoc Theater, Ben Cat Town. Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Mai Hung Dung, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Deputy Chairman of PPC; Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, General Director of Becamex IDC.

This year's tournament brought together 122 football teams divided into 31 tables. At each 4 clusters will organize round robin competition to choose 16 best teams and enter the province-level final round. The organizers will award trophies, prizes to teams winning 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd prize of 4 clusters and the championship (VND100 million), runner-up (VND60 million), and 3^rd team (VND40 million), 4^th team (VND20 million) of the provincial finals.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Mai Hung Dung emphasized that after 11 years, Becamex IDC Cup had confirmed its reputation, the scale and quality was also enhanced. The tournament has become a useful practical playground for the youth and workers, contributed to the successful implementation of the socialization policy in sports field of the province. This year's tournament was also to welcome the election of the 14^th National Assembly and People’s Councils’ delegates, the 126^th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday. The tournament will be ended in next Sep.
