Binh Duong ranks second at national Phu Dong sports festival of region 4

The 9^th National Phu Dong Sports Festival of the Region 4 concluded yesterday at the Lucky Square Convention-Event Center in Binh Duong New City.

The sports festival took place in Binh Duong from April 12 to 22, absorbing more than 2,500 coaches, athletes from 13 provinces and cities in the region. They vied for 157 sets of medals in 12 events:  track-and-field, swimming, table-tennis, badminton, football, volleyball, aerobic, tug-of-war, Judo, stick pushing…

As a result, HCM city topped the sports festival with 2,340 scores. Binh Duong ranked second with 1,523 scores. Dong Nai and  Tay Ninh tied for third place with 1,523 and 638 scores, respectively.

After the event, outstanding units will participate in the 9th National Phu Dong Sport Festival to be held in Thanh Hoa and Nghe provinces in July and August ahead.
