Binh Duong’s sports sector makes great progress

 Binh Duong provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Center for Sports-Physical Training co-held a ceremony to mark the 65th founding anniversary of the Vietnam sports sector.

 Binh Duong’s sports sector reportedly gained considerable achievements at the 6th National Sports Festival. Particularly, Binh Duong grasped 10 gold medals, 12 silver medals, 22 bronze medals, helping it rank 21st among 66 participating provinces and cities. This is the first time Binh Duong has been in the list of Vietnam’s 25 top sports delegations…

 On this occasion, leaders of the sector and the province also awarded the certificates of merit to collectives and individuals who gained excellent achievements at the 6th National Sports Festival.

 *The same day, provincial Center for Sports and Physical Training held a sports festival for the local sports sector’s officials, employees and coaches at the Thanh Le Cultural Park with many interesting games, including tug of war, swimming, bag jumping, clay pot-beating…

 Finally, provincial Center for Sports and Physical Training grasped first prize in the event of clay pot-beating. Dau Tieng ranked first in the event of tug of war while first prize in the event of bag jumping went to provincial Gifted Sports-Physical Training School…
