Binh Duong to be ranked second at 2015 National Chess – Chinese chess Championship of Strong Clubs

The 2015 National Chess – Chinese chess Championship of Strong Clubs hosted by Vietnam Chess Federation closed at Can Tho City after 7 days of competition.

Binh Duong won 2 gold medals, 3 bronze, was ranked second of team category (after HCMC team with 3 gold, 4 silver and 6 bronze medals). Can Tho City was ranked third with 2 gold medals. Following were Da Nang (1 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze); Bac Giang (2 silver, 2 bronze); Hanoi (2 bronze); 4 teams winning 1 bronze medals were Lam Dong, Hai Phong, Binh Dinh, and Quan Doi.

The two gold medals of Binh Duong team belonged to Lai Ly Huynh and Hoang Thi Nhu Y. This year’s tournament brought together 97 athletes including 49 chess athletes from 16 provinces, cities and sectors nationwide competing for 8 categories including male and female blitz chess, standard chess, Chinese chess.
