Binh Duong welcomes over 2 million tourists

Since early this year, there have been additional 29 hotels, motels with 420 rooms and total investment capital of VND64.68bln and additional 4 travel units developed in the province.

Thus, the whole province is now home to 232 hotels and motels operated by organizations and 243 ones operated by individual business households together with 23 international and domestic travel units.

The province in the first half of 2015 welcomed 2 million tourists (including 172,000 international tourists and more than 1.8 million domestic ones), or 47.6% of the yearly plan and up 19% compared to last year’s corresponding period. The province’s total revenue from tourism during the period was estimated at VND640bln or 58% of the yearly plan.
