Binh Duong wins gold medal at 2016 Asian bodybuilding-fitness champs

On the evening of September 6, Tran Khanh Trang of Binh Duong excellently grasped a gold medal in the women’s 55kg-weight category at the 2016 Asian Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships, which is taking place in Bhutan.

This is the only gold medal of Binh Duong at the tournament, thereby contributing to raising the achievement of Vietnam’s bodybuilding-fitness team to 3 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals.

Among Vietnam’s athletes and coaches at the tournament, 5 athletes (3 male, 1 female) and 1 coach come from Binh Duong. All the 4 athletes of the province fulfilled their competition with 1 gold medal of Tran Khanh Trang and 1 silver medal that belonged to Nguyen Van Kien in the men’s 1m60 fitness.
