Bus fare support awarded to 320 workers returning home to celebrate Tet

On January 11, Labor Confederation of Di An City presented transportation support to 320 union members and workers having extremely difficult circumstances to return home and celebrate the Lunar New Year 2024 in the Central and Northern provinces, the support worth about VND160 million.

According to Labor Confederation of Di An City, in the Spring Train - Spring Bus program for Lunar New Year 2024, the city was supported by the Provincial Labor Confederation with 85 round-trip train tickets for union members and workers returning to Northern provinces. Grassroots trade unions plan to give 1,150 bus tickets to workers to return to their home provinces, worth about VND1,050 billion. Above-grassroots trade unions donated 100 bus tickets to the Central Highlands and Western provinces, worth VND90 million.

To take care of union members and workers, Di An City plans to organize a program "Tet reunion - Spring sharing" on January 21; give thousands of gifts to support union members and workers having difficult circumstances. Besides, Di An City has organized cultural, entertainment, and year-end activities for union members, employees at businesses, and residential areas in the area where many workers live.
