The provincial Health Department just announced a decision on setting up district, town and municipal-level medical centers and issued assignment decisions for 28 cadres and leaders of district medical centers. Accordingly, every district medical center includes one director and 3 vice directors.  The provincial People’s Committee vice chairman Huynh Van Nhi grants decisions on setting up district medical centers for the center leaders.

The district medical centers’ establishment is based a mergence of 3 units under general hospital, medical center and center for population and family planning.

The district medical center is under management and instruction of the local Health Department and People’s Committees at all levels.

Addressing the announcement ceremony, the provincial People’s Committee vice chairman Huynh Van Nhi affirmed that the district medical center’s establishment will help all level medical sectors put into good operation.
