Update: 07-03-2013 | 00:00:00
Vietnam and Denmark have signed agreements on tertiary education and diabetes cooperation during the three-day visit by Danish Minister for Trade and Investment, Pia Olsen Dyhr (March 5-7).

Accordingly, TEKO-Design and Business University and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) agreed to cooperate in training and internship programs. About 20 TEKO students will begin their third segment in Vietnam within the next16 weeks.

The program, the first of its kind between Vietnamese and Danish universities, aims to promote cultural exchange and increase both parties’ awareness of the international business climate.

Pia Olsen Dyhr also conducted a fact-finding tour to HCM Medical and Pharmaceutical Hospital to investigate opportunities to set up a Diabetes Training Center, which will be supported by the world-leading firm on diabetes treatment, Novo Nordisk.

On the same day, the Danish guest also held talks with students from the Foreign Trade University and visited successful Vietnamese-Danish joint-venture, Viedam Company.
