Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism leads the emulation movements

Early January 27, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a ceremony to sum up its activities and award State’s titles of elite artists to artists in 2015.

In 2015, the department has organized activities to celebrate major festivals. The preservation and promotion of cultural legacy have been focused to renovate various relics. The movement of the whole public unifying to construct cultural life has effectively stimulated the socio-economic development of the province in sustainable manner.

For sports movements, the department has organized various amateur sports games for majority of the public strata. National and regional sports games have been organized under sponsorship. Tourism has eyed rational transformation, attracting nearly 4 million turns of visitors and gaining VND 900 billion of revenue in the province.

The festivals of happy families and clubs of families have been established on regular, efficient, and practical basis.

Addressing the ceremony, Dang Minh Hung, the Deputy Chair of Provincial People’s Committee requested that the department should propagate and organize bold event of politics and activities of promoting people’s cultural identity. Provincial People’s Committee will be offered consultancy for planning the development from 2016 to 2020 with accelerated promotion of renovation of relics for visiting activities.

On the ocassion, 12 individuals have been honored with the State’s titles of elite artists and 26 individuals memorantos for the cause of culture, sports and tourism. Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has awarded emulation flag to Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Thuan An Town Division of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and merit certificates to 5 collectives and 2 individuals. Provincial People’s Committee awarded emulation flag of excellence to Center of Culture and Movies.
