Department Of Culture - Sports & Tourism to hold Book introducing contest 2016

In response of “Vietnamese Book Day Apr 21”, “World’s Book and Copyright Day Apr 23”, on Apr 19, provincial Department Of Culture - Sports & Tourism held the Book introducing contest 2016.

The contest comprised of 20 book introducing acts from readers of public library system in 9 districts, towns, city and Provincial Library. Contestants gave a presentation of their favorite book based on a proposal submitted to the Organizing Committee. In addition, teams also used technical tools, photos, posters, sound, light, dances... to illustrate their presentation. The contest aimed to stabilize and develop the reading culture; was an opportunity for readers to introduce nice books to friends. In addition, this was also a playground for readers to exchange, learn reading experiences to better serve their learning and working.
