Culture and art are indispensable needs of every person. This is also an essential need of students. Through art and culture playgrounds, many students have become cultural key persons of educational institutions, contributing to the cause of cultural development in the province.

Various colors

In order to meet the demand for cultural, spiritual and artistic activities among students, Binh Duong has opened many attractive and meaningful playgrounds. Every year, contests, performances, festivals of groups to disseminate revolutionary songs held by schools and youth unions in the province attract a large number of students.

Nguyen Minh, a student at Thai Hoa High School (Tan Uyen Town), said that he felt the spirit of Binh Duong youth at these contests. It is a spirit full of enthusiasm, wanting to develop the revolutionary tradition of forefathers, wanting to devote to homeland protection and building. Also through these playgrounds, students had opportunities to show their passion for culture art and interact with their peers.

Students' enthusiasm always spreads in cultural performances

At the Teenager Melodies Contest 2021, many unique and meaningful songs and dances were performed by school students. This is a playground organized by provincial Department of Education and Training every 2 years with the aim of motivating, encouraging and developing cultural and artistic movements in schools; contribute to improving the effectiveness of the education about revolutionary ideals, morality and lifestyle for students, building a healthy cultural lifestyle in schools.

During the recent Covid-19 outbreak, many students in the province participated in projects to make music videos praising the frontline forces fighting day and night against the pandemic. Some prominent MVs were: “Hành khúc mặt trận Corona” (March to the Corona front) by Thu Dau Mot University, “Một đời người, một rừng cây” (One life, one forest) by Binh Duong University of Economics and Technology, “Bình Dương ngày tươi sáng” (Binh Duong's bright day) with the participation of many students and young people who love music in Binh Duong.

For national culture

At cultural and artistic exchange programs between Binh Duong and other countries, such as Japan, Korea, between Vietnam and Laos, Cambodia, unique features of the national culture were upheld. In particular, traditional cultural performances of Vietnam left beautiful impressions in the hearts of foreign students.

Binh Duong's students performed special acts that spread the unique values of traditional culture through "Ao Dai" performances and show the dynamism of youth in performances of modern dance, singing in foreign languages. These were performances selected from performing arts teams of universities, colleges, junior college schools, high schools in the province. This shows Binh Duong province's attention and aesthetic orientation among students has been increasingly effective.

To foster musical talents of young people, Binh Duong established art schools, Binh Duong Fine Arts and Culture Junior College and the Faculty of Culture Industry of Thu Dau Mot University. From these cradles, many cultural and artistic talents have become writers, artists, and cultural managers, contributing to the cause of preserving and promoting the unique values of Binh Duong culture and art, positioning the province in regional and national playgrounds; at the same time, promoting the image of Vietnamese culture and people in the eyes of friends around the world in the process of international integration, building a smart city of the .

Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial . outh Union, President of the Provincial Students' Union, said that currently, cultural and artistic programs among students have been deployed by various levels of the Youth Union by various forms of competitions, festivals etc., especially by applying online forms, clips, information technology while ensuring disease prevention and control, thereby creating playgrounds for students to prove their abilities and talents in cultural and artistic fields.

Hopefully, cultural and artistic talents among students are ale to promote their inner strength to shine more and more, contributing artistic flowers to make life more beautiful. These activities will also help preserving and introducing the unique values of Vietnamese culture to friends around the world, contribute to the revival of national culture, and create a magical light in the culture of mankind.
