Dong An Vocational College inaugurates its hi-tech center

Dong An Vocational College yesterday held a ceremony to inaugurate its hi-tech center (photo) and set up a national skill evaluation center for mechatronics and hi-tech based metal cutting.

 

Attending the ceremony were Nguyen Thi Hang, former Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; Nguyen Ngoc Phi, Deputy Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and Huynh Van Nhi, vice-chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

The hi-tech development center covers 5,500sq.m with a total investment capital of more than VND20bln together with equipment and machines worth VND71bln, serving the learning of thousands of students every year.

Mr.Nhi hoped that the center would become a place for researching and transferring technologies to meet the local demand for highly-skilled humane sources.

On this occasion, the General Department of Vocational Training also cooperated with Dong An Vocational College to organize a seminar on “Orientation for hi-quality human resource training-Hi-tech based metal cutting skill”.
