A children’s education support fund, named “Doremon,” will consider and award 7 scholarships worth VND1mln each to poor-but-excellent pupils in southern Binh Duong province for the 2011 and 2012 academic year.

 The Doremon Scholarship Fund was set up from revenue earned from Doremon, a series of comic strips created by Japanese writer Fujiko. F. Fujio. The Vietnamese language version of the series has been published by the Kim Dong Publishing House since 1996 and attracted millions of young fans.

 The annual scholarship is granted to children who have overcome difficulties to achieve high academic results in various regions nationwide…For documents suggesting to be granted this scholarship, please send them to provincial Youth Pioneer Organization before June 8, 2011.
